Long head of triceps brachii

Arms

Origin
Infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula
Insertion
Olecranon of the ulna
Action
Extends the elbow; also extends and adducts the arm at the shoulder
Nerve supply
Radial nerve (C6–C8)

The only triceps head that crosses the shoulder, because it starts on the shoulder blade. Raising the arm overhead stretches it most, which is why overhead extensions are used to train it.
