A rear-foot-elevated split squat. The front leg takes most of the load (roughly 80%); leaning the torso forward shifts emphasis toward the glutes.

Form cues

  • Rear foot laces down on the bench
  • Descend until the back knee nearly touches the floor
  • Keep the front knee in line with the foot
