Deep muscle — it lies under other muscles. X-ray makes the muscles over it see-through.

Origin
Tip of the coracoid process of the scapula
Insertion
Middle of the inner surface of the humerus
Action
Flexes and adducts the arm at the shoulder
Nerve supply
Musculocutaneous nerve (C5–C7)

A small muscle on the upper inner arm, starting together with the short head of the biceps. It helps lift the arm forward and draw it toward the body.
