Flexor digiti minimi brevis (hand)

Origin: Hook of the hamate and the flexor retinaculum
Insertion: Inner side of the base of the proximal phalanx of the little finger
Action: Flexes the little finger at its base joint
Nerve supply: Deep branch of the ulnar nerve (C8–T1)

A small muscle beside the abductor digiti minimi in the pad on the little-finger side of the palm. It bends the little finger at its base.
